Ship’s to consider Link to heading

This is a simulation of the #trade run of an Interstellar TradeRun primarily not hostile to Citizens for Prosperity (CfP).
Ships if recommendation or the ships we use: the RSI Constellation Taurus / Anvil Asgard.
Some people swear on the Raft, we don’t. The latest RSI Hermes does a decent job, but we don’t have one in our fleet. The Drake Golem OX you can use, if you need extra punishment. We use these ships as cargo shuttles.

  • The Taurus has a 168 SCU gridded cargo capacity on the cargo bay and is considered to be a medium ship.
  • The Asgard has a 180 SCU gridded cargo capacity on the cargo bay and is considered to be a medium ship.
  • The Raft has a 192 SCU gridded cargo capacity on the cargo bay and is considered to be a medium ship.
  • The Hermes has a 288 SCU gridded cargo capacity on the cargo bay and is considered to be a medium ship.
  • The Starlilfter M2 has a 522 SCU gridded cargo capacity on the cargo bay and is considered to be a large ship.
  • The Starlilfter C2 has a 696 SCU gridded cargo capacity on the cargo bay and is considered to be a large ship.

Requirements Link to heading

We asume, you have basic knowledge of economics and logistics. \

  • Reputation Citizen for Prosperity (neutral or higher)
  • Reputation Headhunters (neutral or higher)
  • <= Crimestat 2
  • Multi-Tool with TruHold Tractor Beam Attachment
  • MaxLift Tractor Beam
  • Undersuit with helmet
  • Core armor with a backpack
  • Knowledge of your ships grid and off-grid cargo capability
  • Knowledge of your ships fuel tanks capability. We utilize RSI Constellation Taurus/Anvil Asgard, the Starlifters M2 and C2 respectevily to show case
  • 100 million aUEC of investment and liquidity to start with (enough funds to keep you liquid)

Strategies To Consider - or Principles Link to heading

  • Practice is king! Especially Multi-Tool, MaxLift and Ships Tractor Beam as well as ATLS.
  • Never fly empty!
  • Store the boxes at different space station, each station offers 5000 SCU (per player).
  • Store the boxes at space station, according the selling location (even in a crew).
  • Deliver the boxes according the selling location.
  • For big quanities or box sizes, utilize bigger cargo ships (Starlifters, Caterpillar).
  • Loan before buy, rent before buy, and eventually buy the ship - in that order, you don’t want to fill up the Starlifter with 7x 4SCU boxes
  • Calculate the inventory cycles.
  • Respect the Patch Drop cycles - commodites not sold, will be lost.

Things To Consider Link to heading

  • Buy & Load at Pyro’s outpost to reduce loss through piracy and bugs
  • Store at Pyro’s space stations, before you deliver mass quantities to selling locations
  • #BatchBuying in Pyro for keep you liquid
  • #BatchBuying in Pyro for storing the boxes at space station
  • #BatchSelling in Pyro for keep you liquid
  • #BatchSelling in Stanton for maximum satisfaction
  • Bigger boxes means less tractor beaming work
  • Smaller boxes tends to more profit per SCU
  • Loading a bigger ship takes a lot of effort, do that in safe & secure space stations
  • Bring a partner - for tractor beaming help, cover your back and reviving, remote turrets or as a second pilot (escort), or just a second inventory
  • Consider Mass Trading/Dilemmas as a ““long term”” investment with no instant gratification
  • Your driving force is greed no more but focus, consistency, efficiency, strategy and logistics

Planning & Logistics Link to heading

With an inventory cylce of every 12 mintues, after 60 minutes most commodities are restocked. We aim a #BatchBuying per location and commodity as well we respect the limits of ship quantities on the selling location for a full #BatchSelling. \

We utilizing as many functions and mechanics Star Citizen has to offer, what means, buy & load, store, deliver and store or deliver and sell directly out of the ship. Where external Freight Elevators are available, we also consider utilizing those, depending on the crew configuration at the time of operation. We buy commodities to be able to: \

  1. minimizing risks at both sides (buying & selling locations)
    a. shuttle commodities to space station (buy & load, store)
    b. load the large cargo ship inside the hangar of the space station
    c. crew up for fast & secure handling in Pyro’s outposts
  2. fill up completely the transport ship(s)
    a. utilize the cargo grid of the cargo ship
    b. utilize Auto-Unload at the selling locations
  3. Auto-Store / Auto-Unload function at space stations
  4. #BatchSelling at the selling locations
