Every day we’re sending millions of signals to space and back by utilising data over satellite technology.

To make this possible we need to place satellites around our planet, but where do we put them? There are three main categories of orbit that we have satellites in and each one comes with different properties.

And those three main categories are: LEO, MEO & GEO. But what are they? And what do they mean?

Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images used in commerce.

IP is protected in law by, for example, patents, copyright and trademarks, which enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit from what they invent or create. By striking the right balance between the interests of innovators and the wider public interest, the IP system aims to foster an environment in which creativity and innovation can flourish.

The science is basically an act, that everybody can do, always and everywhere. You can verify, reproduce it. For Star Citizen, everyone who has access to the ‘Verse, can do that. The ‘Verse is a world (IP) and RSII has the right, and you as a player (with a game package) the privilege.

The fiction in etymology in the ‘Verse is applicable to the intelectual property (IP) of Roberts Space Industries AND Cloud Imperium Games, who are the author and therefore the authority of all terms, used within the ‘Verse.
